3 Was macht uns aus und was macht Burgdorf zu einem Ort mit besonderer Lebensqualität? Wie sehen wir Burgdorf in der Zukunft? Für unsere Vision 2050 haben wir zusammen mit der ZHdK Zukunftsbilder von Burgdorf erarbeitet (siehe Bild links) und viele Fragen diskutiert. Wo wir uns einig sind: Burgdorf verbindet Innovation und Tradition und ist offen für Veränderungen und Wandel. Ob in der Kultur, der Architektur oder dem Zusammenleben: Innovative Konzepte ergänzen das Traditionelle und sind stetig in Bewegung. Was Burgdorf ebenfalls ausmacht und uns speziell wichtig ist, ist die Nähe und der Schutz der Natur, die uns umgibt. Sie ist Teil unserer Stadt und strahlt über die Stadtgrenzen hinaus. Die Gysnauflühe, welche hinter dem Schloss Burgdorf in den Himmel emporragen oder die kühlende Emme sind Wahrzeichen und Naherholungsgebiet Burgdorfs zugleich. Ohne diese Natur ist eine Zukunft mit Lebensqualität undenkbar. Darum schützen wir sie, feiern sie und teilen sie. Ich wünsche Ihnen beim Entdecken viel Vergnügen! What makes us stand out, and what makes Burgdorf a place with a unique life quality? How do we see Burgdorf in the future? For our Vision 2050, we worked with the ZHdK to develop images of Burgdorf’s future (see picture on the left) and discussed many questions. We all agree on one thing: Burgdorf combines innovation and tradition and is open to change and transformation. Whether in culture, architecture or living together: Innovative concepts complement the traditional and are constantly on the move. Something we also value strongly in Burgdorf is our proximity to and the protection of the nature surrounding us. It is part of our town and radiates beyond its borders. The Gysnauflühe, which rise into the sky behind Burgdorf Castle, and the cooling Emme are simultaneously Burgdorf’s landmarks and local recreation areas. Without this nature, a future with quality of life is unthinkable. That is why we protect it, celebrate it and share it. I hope you enjoy discovering it!
